Opening Sequence Evaluation

We decided that we where going to make the title sequence roughly 15 seconds long, this is because in Film Noir the title sequence's are very simple and are not shown for a long period of time. Due to the genre of Film Noir we decided that the best colour for the typography would be either white or black. Furthermore a simple text like San Serif would be used in the opening due to it not being simple and easy to read. This is the impact that we want to create as we want people to read the titles but not focus their attention on them. Overall we are trying to create a simple title sequence that can be edited in over the first few shots of our protagonist, i think that we have got of to a good start using our research to see what will work and what wouldn't in the opening 2 minutes.
